Salt in the coffee (2)

...continue it from yesterday

He wrote the letter before he dies, he wrote it to her:

My dear, forgive me, but I cheated you your whole life! Remember the first time we met? I invited you to drink a coffee with me. At that time I was very nervous didn’t know what I should talk with you, because you look so beautiful.

When the waitress came I didn’t know why I let her bring some salt, I didn’t need salt! Of course I also don’t want to put salt in my coffee. But I already said so and had no idea why.

My love, because of your curiosity, half my lifetime I had to drink coffee with salt. You don’t know how bad the taste is! I always wanted to tell you the truth, but I worried you would be angry and leave me.

But now I'm not scared any more, because a dying person is always forgiven, right?

After reading his letter, she is shock and feels cheated. But she knows if she had a chance she would tell him: ”I'm the luckiest women in the world because you followed your bitter lie your whole life. Only for me!”
